Affordable Housing Scheme - What? Why? and How?

Affordable Housing is defined by using three key parameters like income level, the size of dwelling unit and affordability. In this scheme first two parameters are independent of each other, the third parameters are correlated to income and property price and can be termed as a dependent parameter. The state government started an affordable housing project in Gurgaon within this financial year. Affordable housing is the housing units that are affordable for the middle-income group of the society. In other words, it provides the housing need of lower or middle-income families. These affordable housing projects are constructed to full-fill the demand for their basic needs and living like clothing, education, medical facilities. Buying an affordable housing segment is becoming a critical issue in NCR where the population is increasing but not able to invest in the Realty market. According to rule, the housing segment is affordable if the cost of the property is less than 30% of the gross household income.
The first preference of Affordable Housing Project has been allotted to any housing property; it is the responsibility of government to look into rising demand for affordable housing segment. Other measures have been taken by the Haryana government to provide Affordable Housing Projects in Gurgaon and Sohna. Under this scheme, the government will provide necessary funds to the needful buyers for constructing the homes on their land.  Affordable housing is needed for all home buyers as it contains numerous facilities under the scheme.

•    90% Home loan finance is available from all leading banks
•    Zero Tax Services
•    Price are based on carpet area at Rs. 4000 per Sq.ft.
•    Compulsory to delivers project within four years
•    Payment plans within 3.5 years
•    No maintenance charge by developer till five years.
Numerous amenities which includes power backup, high securities, open area, kids play area


The Affordable Housing has numerous projects in Sohna, and Gurgaon namely is GLS Arawali Homes, Raheja Krishna, MVN Athens, Tulsiani Easy in Homes, HCBS Sports Ville, Global Heights, and Signature Orchard Avenue, Parana Laxmi Apartment, Ramada Of Aaliyah, Pyramid Urban Homes, Supertech Basra, and Signature Global Solera.


The objective of Huda Affordable Housing Scheme is to offer adequate Affordable Homes to all. Creation of affordable housing should encompass both enabling people to buy and to rent. The present models on which affordable housing is being created concentrate on the ability of buyers.
